Sifu Devin Harper
I am a certified instructor of Leung Ting WingTsun and hold the rank of second technician. After being involved in Wing Tsun for 15 years I opened this school in January 2019. I love to teach and have an informal way of instructing that often involves fun and laughing. I have had many good instructors and am happy to share what I have learned. Over the course of training, I have also become able to show what I have learned as it can be easier to understand something that is felt or seen rather than heard.
I have always been drawn to martial arts. Along the way I have experienced Karate, BJJ, Judo, escrima and other families of Wing Chun formally, but informally about anything I could find with a training partner. I have since sought out this particular family of Wing Chun (Wing Tsun) as it possesses unique training techniques and has a proven track record of creating amazing martial artists.
I moved back to Davis in 2015. Outside of WingTsun, my wife and I live with our 3 young children. I am an emergency physician and also teach in that role as a volunteer Assistant Clinical Professor at UC Davis & California Northstate University School of Medicine.
